This is a one year/one semester course in the field of instrumental music, performance oriented for winds and percussion. The first semester is dedicated to the development of marching drills, field show techniques, and parade performances. The second semester emphasizes a concert/wind ensemble approach to playing, rehearsing, and performing music of all types. Students curricular performances throughout the school year include home football games, pep rallies, concerts, festivals, and community events. There is mandatory preseason camp for Varsity Marching Band in the Fall, two weeks before Labor Day weekend.

This is a one year/one semester course in the field of contemporary jazz music-performance oriented for winds and rhythm section instruments. Both semesters are centered in the learning and performance of the jazz idiom, covering styles and concepts ranging from the earliest forms of jazz, to the latest materials available. Students will be required and expected to participate in extra-curricular performances throughout the school year, including festivals and community events.
