Welcome to ASB Leadership!!!
This class was created to give students the time and opportunity
to provide the student body with enjoyable activities produced
by their peers. This outsanding group of students is made up
of ASB officers, and class officers who are elected by their
peers and students selected through an application and interview
process.
Leadership empowers students to exercise their abilities and
talents in :
- organizing, planning, directing, promoting
Student Activities
- Students execute a variety of student generated activities
such as:
- Freshman Orientation
- Homecoming
- Spirit Week
- rallies, lunch time activities, class competitions, dances,
dress up days
- Election convention
- Mock Rock
- Winter Formal
- Senior Prom
- activities that encourage school spirit and pride
Community Service
Leadership is fun and exciting, but also a lot of work. Students
in this class are willing to give their time and effort toward
community service by performing volunteer activities such as:
- the canned food drive for Loaves and Fishes
- the blood drive for the Tri-Country Blood Bank
- feeding the homeless
Academic and Activity Recognition
These students also provide the work force for the award programs
that honor academic achievement such as:
- The Academic Awards Ceremony which honors the students who
have maintained a 3.75 GPA through three and four years of high
school
- the Top 30 dinner for outsanding seniors who have achieved
succes thruogh academics, service to the community and their
involvement in scholl activities
- Scholarship Night for students who receive scholarships from
both local organizations and from colleges and universities
- Student of the month - recognition by departments and teachers
