New Construction Continues at AHS

A look at the continuing construction of the STEM and Agriculture buildings at Atascadero High School. The aerial footage was taken by AHS Publication Design student Luca Johnson using a DJI Mavic Pro drone purchased with a CTE incentive grant.

National Science Bowl Competition

Students at National Science Bowl competition.The AHS Science Bowl Team took 4th place in the National Science Bowl Competition February 9th! Way to go team! Thank you to Robin Ryburn, John Forte and Angie McQuitty for all their support of our three teams! Thank you to all of the students who spent hours preparing for this competition! We honor your dedication and pursuit of excellence!

Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarship Winner

Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarship winner Jessica Jen with Vice-principal Dr. Libby Madding and twp DAR presenters.

Congrats to Jessica Jen, who not only won a Chapter Level DAR scholarship, but also a District Level one with the DAR.  The chapter level covers North County schools, and includes 6 top performing students. District Level covers  Simi Valley to Monterey County, and from the Coast to Kern County Line. She competed against 8 chapter winners. Her essay will now go to state level.
